See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

There are so many great Project for Awesome perks this year, but my personal favorite are the limited edition prints from Sarah Urist Green’s “Doubles” series. In these digital collages, characters appear in doubles instead of with their well-known partners–from Yoko and Yoko to Cher and Cher.

I love this series so much, and the only way to get one of the prints is by donating to the p4a.

H...how did you make the logo uncentered in both ways, its offset to the left when viewing the blog and to the right on the little thumbnail avatars

The short answer to your question is that I am a genius. I am real tired of people on this web site thinking their reductive critiques of my work are actually true, and failing to notice the true and deep well of genius from which I operate, which allows me to do things like make logos off-center in different ways depending on where you are seeing them. This is called GRAPHIC DESIGN. If it were an OLYMPIC EVENT, I would win the gold medal.

An off-center logo catches the eye. Then it opens the heart. Then it moves the soul. Then people donate.

Just to reinforce my graphic design skills, I made a gold medal for myself.

Hello! I contributed art for one of the P4A perks this year (I won’t say which because I left notes with links to my real life public accounts and I enjoy being an abstract entity on here). I just wanted to say thank you for putting this event on and giving me a good cause to create for! I look forward to it every winter & I’m extra excited this time :)

Thanks for contributing!!

p.s. Being an abstract entity is so fucking underrated.

Hello. I have experienced a major metamorphosis. I am no longer a coffee company. I am now a fan blog celebrating the Project for Awesome, a 16-year-old online fundraiser and charity extravaganza.

Since 2007, the P4A has raised over $17,000,000 for a huge variety of great causes. Right now, all donations will go to Partners in Health and Save the Children, two organizations working to extend healthcare and educational opportunities to vulnerable populations. Plus, you can get great perks, like original art and stories created by people in our community. The livestream starts at noon eastern on Friday, but you can donate now!

My personal favorite perk so far is my spouse, Sarah Urist Green, series of prints in which she removes men from iconic photographs. (Sonny and Cher become Cher and Cher; John and Yoko become Yoko and Yoko; and so on.) You can see all the perks here!
