See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

The weirdest part about the whole your brother having cancer thing is that I still have to sell coffee, you know?

I mean, look at this 48,000 square foot maternal and infant care center being built in Koidu City. It literally cannot build itself. It requires hundreds of people working together on the site and tens of millions of dollars in support over the next ten years, so like this is weird and terrible but I gotta sell the goddamned coffee.

An important update from my brother (and Awesome Coffee Club cofounder) Hank Green.

Thanks for all the kind words, wishes, thoughts, and prayers. This sucks, but Hodgkin’s lymphoma is very treatable provided that those living with it can access good care. Hank is getting great care and has a deep support network, but even so: This is really hard.

The last few weeks have made me admire Hank more than ever, and I’ve been his biggest fan for a long time. It’s a rough road. But I am comforted to know that he will be loved and accompanied through it.

Tumblr is so great and twitter is so shitty that it feels very 2011 right now so I think I might write a novel that tumblr loves until it becomes popular outside of tumblr and then get bullied off this web site again.

That would be fun. Maybe I’ll just do that over and over again in 12-year cycles like those fucking cicadas.

It really is true that you never know what someone’s going through. We must be careful and kind to each other. We must begin from a place of generosity and not contempt. But that’s so hard!

And it is SO EASY for me to two-dimensionalize someone on the Internet. I’m not sure if this is the result of my personal character flaws or the architecture of social internet spaces (or both), but I am really troubled by it.

So yeah, you never know what other people are going through. You may not even fully understand what YOU are going through. I know I don’t. The only thing I know for sure is that if you’re going through coffee too quickly, I have a great solution for you–ethically sourced, astonishingly delicious coffee that arrives at your house on a regular schedule so that you never run out of coffee.
